Orange County Wheelmen - For the 23rd anniversary of one of Southern California's most grueling rides, I developed a visual narrative that captures the essence of the climb. The design utilizes an atmospheric perspective, moving from the dark, forested valleys at the hem to a radiant sunburst "summit" at the collar. By incorporating a silhouetted climber against a massive mountain backdrop, the jersey serves as a wearable badge of honor for those who conquered the 12,000 feet of elevation. The "Grim Reaper" motif on the back pocket adds a touch of the ride’s signature dark humor, balancing the epic scale with local tradition.
