This project focused on creating a high-utility field guide for casual divers in Southern California. The design challenge was to present educational content in a way that feels approachable and vibrant. By balancing the classic cover style of Ed Vebell with the detailed interior renderings of Nick Mayer, I developed a cohesive visual identity that makes identifying local marine life both easy and enjoyable.
